Main Festival Duties

August 1-3

+ Info Booth Attendant

Providing guests with general information about the festival; directing guests to food/artwork/scheduled events; providing information about the featured chefs and menu of the day; directing guests toward amenities; providing guests with sunscreen and bug spray.

+ Parking Attendant

Directing festival attendees to available parking spots on-site; directing traffic out of the parking lot at the end of the concert.

+ Coffee Attendant

Make and serve coffee and tea for guests; restock cups, milk & sugar.

+ Bartender

Preparing and serving beverages: beer and cider on tap, wine, seltzers. Tips are split amongst volunteers on a per shift basis. Must have up-to-date Responsible Beverage Service certification to volunteer.

+ Merch Attendant

Selling festival and artist merchandise at our merch booth; counting artist merch for inventory.

+ Food Station Attendant

Handing out prepared meals; taking meal tickets; bussing tables; filling water glasses; helping with dishes as necessary.

+ Dining Room Attendant

Bussing tables; washing dishes; emptying garbage cans; cleaning up after the meal.

+ Goéland Attendant

Situated at the Centre Goéland in Cape Egmond; helping to prep and serve meals to the festival team; do loads of laundry as needed; cleaning social areas; helping to load festival necessities into the vans.

+ Short-distance Driver

Providing local drives to festival staff and artists as needed. Vehicle provided Must have valid driver's license.

+ Long-distance Driver

Driving artists to Halifax airport. Vehicle provided. Must have valid driver's license.

Family Day Duties

Saturday August 2nd

+ Sand Castle Workshop Assistant

Transporting gear; assisting with workshop as needed.

+ Face Painter

Providing face painting to children for the afternoon. Must have some experience with face painting!

+ Craft Table Attendant

Helping kids to make crafts; guiding them between activities.

+ General Helpers

Transporting supplies and gear; maintaining kids' areas; guiding kids to and from activities; acting as a runner as needed.
