KELLY CASELEY

Kelly is a multidisciplinary artist inspired by both the history of the Island and its natural beauty. Happiest when she is covered in glitter, sawdust and/or paint she can most often be found backstage at island theatres, or working ridiculously long hours on film sets. She loves the festival because it gets her outdoors into the sunlight! And because Robert always brings oysters.

When not at work she can generally be assumed to be impatiently waiting for rhubarb season to come around again.

PATRICK BRUNET

A diploma in woodworking in Montreal gave him the skills to turn his inspirations into realities. He honed his management , design and creative skills in outdoor music, art and winter events, with an emphasis on the ‘out-holy-mary-mother-of-jayzus-doors’.

Work like lobster fishing and ice harvesting keeps him grounded and teaches him knacky tricks.

If you can’t find him it is because he is on a cliff somewhere hunting fossils.

He feels lucky to have a super creative collaborator in Kelly Caseley and feels blessed to have the opportunity to create vibes for Route 11 again and again.

KAREN GALLANT

Visual Artist Karen Gallant is from Rustico, Prince Edward Island. She is the owner of Gallery in Rustico, located above A.P. Gallant’s Country Food Market, where her “of another world” paintings are on display. Karen also gives life to canvases in her farm house studio in the rolling hills of Hunter River.

Inspired by the elements and rhythms of the sea and Island – the land, its people, and their stories – Karen’s art summons the watchful spirits between worlds – ours and theirs. Working in acrylics and mixed media, Karen Gallant’s pieces reveal the mysterious spark at the heart of Island tales which have been passed down from generations natural observers and legendary storytellers.
